The Trip

About us. You think you recognize yourself from the routine of every day, from the habit. We dare to ensure that we know each other and that we know the people around us, those closest to us, family or friends. We think we can understand our emotions or we find justification for our actions and classify them as "selfish" or "altruistic", but the truth is I believe that no one gets to know himself or others if not until we travel. When traveling we get out of our routine, out of our place of safety and comfort and it is then that we really discover ourselves and get to know others. People meet by traveling. It is discovered in patience or impatience, in tastes, whims or generosity. In 2018 I decided to take a trip with my father, I realized that the memories I had of him were from when I was his son, a very young son. I thought, I don't know my father as an adult and he doesn't know me. I want to know who he is now that I am an adult and I want him to know me too. I suppose that when time starts to run out, you have to make sure you are what you wanted to be and generate new memories.
