This is a view from the ancient hilltop fortress of Hotalich, near Sevlievo in Bulgaria. It was taken during a particularly rainy season and the Alexander Stamboliyski reservoir in the vicinity, had flooded the plains nearby. I combined two shots that I had taken from Hotalich to make this one photo.
