I first discovered the city of Mostar on Pinterest, but it was never actually on my radar until my mother told me we were taking a day trip to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I traveled to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina this past summer and the view took my breath away. This small city was a culture shock to me because i was used to the big European cities like Paris, Rome, etc. On the other side of the bridge there were men who would dive off the bridge if you paid them money. My sister and i always tried to watch, but whenever they jumped we would be facing the wrong direction and would only hear their bodies hit the water then a round of applause. Throughout the city there were remnants of the Bosnian War, for example bullet holes in walls and broken windows. The day trip was well worth it with scenic landscapes that only one would only find in Mostar.
