I got the opportunity to witness the papal visit today in Philadelphia. It was a communion of people from all around the world. The pilgrims started to gather from early morning and took their position on the sidewalks on either side of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, waiting all day to get a glimpse of Pope Francis. I was overwhelmed by the patience and enthusiasm of the pilgrims which consisted of people of all age groups. I spent the day photographing the event, this being one my fav shots.
