Once all the lamps had been lit by the devotees and a prayer said, most people left this step well at Varanasi...a little later the evening breeze extinguished some of the lamps. I was just sitting there admiring the surreal sight when this man descended down the steps and started to reignite the lamps again...a memorable travel moment for me.
