*The Wind Crosses Her Sky

A cloudless sky hangs low, uniform as uncut lead-gray canvas. Wind invades from the right, stealing warmth from my hair, sketching strokes of carbon-dust; the tide line in the distance resets its clock; this moment of solitude holds such abundance; This is no frozen instant, but a quadripartite covenant signed by wind, sea, time, and solitude.
