I attended the Woman’s March in New York City this past winter. Despite the rhetoric surrounding this past election, it was euphoric and inspiring to be a part of such a warm, inclusive, united event. In this photograph, a woman who was chanting leaned back and raised her arms in the air to project her voice and soul even louder. In my opinion this image captures the true essence of this event.
