The Women's March | NYC
I attended the Woman’s March in New York City this past winter. Despite the rhetoric surrounding this past election, it was euphoric and inspiring to be a part of such a warm, inclusive, united event. In this photograph, a group of diverse women dressed as the cultural icon, “Rosie the Riveter”, posed in her famous position to show their own strength a resilience. They hold banners with Rosie’s face as well as other women of strength from different cultural backgrounds. This is the epitome of the unity that brought this march to fruition. Despite the struggle ahead, women, from all different walks of life, are united together.
