The worlds smallest raptor, with prey

The black thighed falconet (Microhierax fringillarius) is the worlds smallest bird of prey - the size and weight of a sparrow and capable of hunting prey as big as itself. This image shows a male falconet holding a chick that it has just hunted from another birds nest.
