Theodore Roosevelt National Grassland
Travelling from the shores of Lake Superior to eastern Montana for a dinosaur dig my friend and I drove all night with the intention of seeing the sunrise over Theodore Roosevelt National Grassland. With minimal sleep and hours of long road ahead, we were not weary at all as we were completely blessed with this perfectly imperfect sunrise over the valley. Blocked most of the time, the sun broke the clouds for me for just a few moments.
