We were walking along the Seine in Paris when I noticed a guy walking a bunch of dogs. It seemed like way too many dogs for one person. I quickly raised my camera and got off a few shots. Fast forward a few weeks. When we got back home to the States, I loaded the hundreds and hundreds of trip photos onto my computer. I remembered the dog-walker shots and was eager to see if any came out well. I have to admit that I was totally shocked that not all of the dogs were dogs. One was a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig! This just goes to show that in the heat of the (photographic) battle, you don't always see everything that's going on, and the camera will often deliver a nice surprise to you.
