There’s always something behind
The uniqueness of Huangshan lies in the undulating landscape. With layers of mountains’ silhouette overlapping and intersecting with each other, its poetic outline of the spectacular pine trees on peculiarly-shaped granite peaks are playfully veiled and unveiled. The strategy of the photo is to make use of the overlapping to create an instability of spatial depth, like how a traditional Chinese landscape painting is drawn.
