Thinking Outside The Box

This image speaks for itself. Ingenuity, brilliance, resourceful are all words that come to mind. Not to mention daring. I just purchased a new car. A four-wheel drive, cross-over SUV, with a fair amount of power and very capable. Not state of the art but like I said, very capable. However, when I peruse my owners manual and the many forums online all I can find is that in America, I am not allowed to tow. Nearly every other country I can find, rates my exact vehicle for a weight that would easily tackle small items like this jet-ski. However, red tape in this country limits the capabilities without explanation. Obviously this is not the end of the world. But the bigger picture is, how many other things are we limiting simply because...we are told we have to. What else might we be capable of? What brilliant ideas never make it to the forefront because they were squashed before they even came to light? And all it took was a jet-ski on top of a car for me to realize this.
