Seeing your baby on the sonogram is a rewarding experience in and of itself, but to see your baby countdown to it's own birth is a phenomena of God's mercy as it tends to give you hope when you're doubting yourself and the baby's ability to survive. So when I saw her little fist at 20 weeks, then two little fingers at 30 weeks and finally her pointer finger with one day to go before she was finally here...all the fears and doubts that plagued my pregnancy vanished and I was a mother again.
