21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
This is a fog that mimics a cascading river while climbing up Sheep Mountain in Juneau, Alaska.

This is a photo of the dense fog that looks like a cascading river. I was hiking Powerline Ridge on the way up Sheep Mountain in Juneau, Alaska. There was a thick river of fog and it spilled into the next valley creating the look of a waterfall of fog.
