While photographing mountains in Colorado, this Moose came walking right past me at dawn like I wasn't even there. It was too dark to capture him at first, so I waited a while for it to get light, then I looked for him. He wasn't far away, so I grabbed my longer lens and waited for him to make a move. He actually dug a hole in the sand and layed down for a while, then he got up and walked right past me for this image. What a great experience it was to capture him in his elements.
