Two souls don't meet by words, but by the silence behind them. Every spring and fall I take to the forests of the upper Midwest. I spend countless hours photographing these magnificent animals. I have found the more time you put in the more you witness nature's magical moments. I was photographing a mother black bear and her three cubs. This little guy was so curious about what I was he sat back up against a tree and just watched me. It's these moments when all seems right with the world.
