Those Boot Were Made for Walking

This is a pictures of my sister's hand-made shoes that she made herself. She wore them hiking in the sand dunes of Silver Lake, MI and I just had to capture the beauty of them on the short of Lake Michigan. You can truly do anything you want in America. She has changed careers so many times, but has landed on shoe-making and I think that says a lot about the boundless opportunities in America.
