Three Brown Pelican Newborns in Nest
Nesting Baby Brown Pelicans. This is a story of survival and restoration. After the Deepwater Horizon spill destroyed their nesting place, money was spent to restore Queen Bess Island--a rookery for Brown Pelicans and eight other species. Once the restoration was completed, the birds returned and the nesting spot was once again revived.
