I'd seen this strange-looking church along North Adams Street in Peoria countless times. It wasn't until this particular day that something curious occurred. It was an unseasonably warm Christmas day. I was out with my camera and happened to be pumping gas at a station across from this church. I just happened to look over and noticed the shadow of an additional cross cast along a house next door. This is one of those images that was set-aside, confused if I liked it or not. I came back months later still intrigued. Honestly, I don't shoot a lot of urban stuff however, if you are thoughtful, and open, these subtle nuanced images come flooding to.
