On the same day, several officials, including the President and Aung San Suu Kyi, were arrested. And then they restricted citizens' freedoms by Internet cuts and curfews. Myanmar people Citizens also took to the streets to protest the military's injustices. During the protests, many people were injured, killed and detained by the military and police. Most of them are young people. Despite these losses, the people of Burma have not backed down and continue to stand up for the truth.
