Three Generations
I captured this image of chrysanthemum from an angle that shows the gradation of focus. I wanted to convey the three generations from a bud to the fully bloomed, a subtle reminder of our youth into adulthood. I used my macro lens with a wide aperture for that shallow depth of field. A daylight-balanced lamp enhanced the shadows to give the petals, form.
