The Thrill of Participation This was taken on July 30 at a local BMX bike race during a practice run. The thrill on the kid's face is not of victory but of participation and anticipated completion. He just finished dashing from the start line together with 8 other riders, going through three jumps, making a sudden turns at sharp bends, maintaining aerial balance and several other fast moves while consistently peddling hard. The expression of thrill is captured just as he reached the finish line. Thrill is not only for victory!
