Svalbard. We left Longyearbyen on the M/S Origo on March 15 in the middle of a snow storm and headed North along the western coast of Svalbard. It took me a couple of days to realize that being outside doing photography when the sea was rough was a much better use of my time than getting sick inside. As we were going from one fjord to the other, we sailed through heavy seas. I went out on the deck held firmly to the railing with one hand and held the camera with the other.
