This photo was taken last spring when I stopped in Beijing before my semester abroad, to spend some time with one of my friends from college. We walked around Tiananmen Square at night. From afar the entrance to the Forbidden City looked like a movie set. As we got closer, I realized how beautifly the light was hitting the entrance and decided to capture the scene.
