I remember this mountain from the story of a legendary monk who cross it to India pursuing the Buddhist scriptures that spread all the way to Japan. Tianshan in chinese mean "heaven-mountain". I believe it was name for a reason. The reason is what I feel when I took this photo from the window. It does has a majestic feel about the mountain. The cloud, snow and light.
