Tide's out on the Coral Coast, Fiji
At low tide the bare white sand on this beach is exposed to the sky. Often at low tide on other beaches in Fiji, little rocky and sandy pools have remnants of seaweed, little fish and other marine life, trapped in them. Here, the beach is flat and almost the entire lagoon empties out into the Pacific Ocean through a narrow channel in the reef.
