Time Exposure of Car Traffic in Busy Place de la Concorde, Paris
This is a nighttime exposure of the always crowded Place de la Concorde in the center of downtown Paris. The long exposure allows for headlights and taillights of all the cars to create long streaks that add color to the night scene. The blue lights were from police cars driving through the traffic circle to add an additional color. The background buildings are five-star hotels and shopping in this very fashionable district. The American embassy is just off the left hand side of the frame and the center object is an Egyptian obelisk.
