This photo shows a picture of a destroyed tombstone in a Jewish cemetery in Lodz, Poland. During the Nazi's reign of destruction this Jewish cemetery was targeted and Nazi soldiers destroyed and overturn tombstones of the deceased. Here is a picture of one of these stones, overgrown in vegetation lying on the ground with the name of the deceased partially showing through growth. The top of the tombstone shows a depiction of a biblical scene, probably representative of that persons life.
