Timing is Everything

I was visiting family in Florida and we were having dinner at a restaurant on the water. I noticed a dock reaching out into the water and the color of the sky began to show signs of pink. The reflection of the sky on the water was beautiful. I could tell the sky was about to intensify and I didn't want to miss the moment. I took the opportunity to sneak away from dinner and take a quick picture of the dock, water and sky just as the sky became even more vibrant and beautiful. As the title of the photo suggests, timing is truly everything. I was simply in the right place at the right time and I was able to capture one of the most beautiful moments I have ever witnessed. Seconds later, after I snapped this photograph, the sky and clouds had darkened, blue and black hues regained the the night sky and the reflections on the water faded away.
