I feel very fortunate that I was able to capture this Hummingbird's tongue, as it was taking a break on a nearby tree. I took this photo at the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens in Fayetteville, NC. I love the gardens there, and the hummingbirds flourish. Hummingbirds are fascinating to me and they are my favorite photography subject.
