Tobacco Farmer, Viñales

Going to Cuba has been a dream of mine for many years. I was finally able to visit the western part of the unique island nation in March 2018. I hired a local guide to take me on a walking tour of the sprawling tobacco fields in the Viñales Valley, and watched as a lifelong tobacco farmer showed how to roll tobacco into cigars. It's a hard life for the tobacco farmers and all their work is done by hand, but they are able to earn additional income from tourism.
