Torre de Tamarit

The Torre de Tamarit is situated i the municipality of Santa Pola, Spain, and belongs to the system of coastal watchtowers implemented by Philip II for the defense of the Levantine coast. It was built back in 1552, but fell apart over the centuries. In 2006 it was only a ruin, but completely restored.
