Originally planned to experience the April 2024 total eclipse in Texas, but had to quickly pivot and change the destination to Vermont because of bad weather near Dallas, TX. The few minutes of the totality were magical - as if all life stopped breathing for that time, even the birds and the insects. Life resumed shortly after the sun peeped out from behind the moon.
