Toucan eating a bat
During my 2 month stay in the Palmari reserve working as a photographer for the lodge I saw many toucans. There was one rescued individual who spent most of its time inside the lodge stealing stuff and playing with people. This individual would fly in the mornings and evenings out into the forest to display its calls and look for food. He was not captive but he was habituated to humans. One day he brought back a bat and began eating it in front of the lodge.
