I took this photo when on a tour of Chichén Itzá in July. It was blazing hot in the sun, so our tour group took refuge in the shadow of a tree. My husband and I had booked a bus tour to get to Chichén Itzá, as we were only in Mexico for a brief time and didn't want to rent a car for just one day.
