Toxic foam generated by Nagwa nallah, one of Varanasi city’s main sewage drain. About 84% of Varanasi is not connected to a sewer and the untreated sewage is dumped directly into the Ganges river. Despite being revered as a goddess by millions in India, the Ganges is one of the most polluted river in India.
