I often like to visit the old city of Alviso, California, right on the edge of the slough where the Pacific Ocean ends. What used to be a bustling town is now reduced to random remnants of the past (like this old building, right next to the railroad tracks, which used to be a store in the 1920s). Modernity is also slowly overtaking the region...The old store and the rail tracks make a great picture due to the glance they offer into the past, as well as the perspective into the future.
