We came across this glacial lake on our drive to Nathula Pass on the Indo-China border this summer. That day was rainy with a lot of fog, making the mountain drive from Gangtok to Nathula arduous. Sitting in the front of the car, I couldn’t see a few feet ahead of me due to the heavy fog. However, when I came across this calm and tranquil glacial lake, all my fear seemed to ebb away and I felt incredibly peaceful.
