Transition
Hangzhou is a city of contrast. Established in the 6th Century AD, this city has always been a beacon of technological development in China; since serving as the capital of the Song Dynasty in the 12th Century it is now home to tech giant Alibaba. The image intends to capture Hangzhou's rapid transition from a leader in globalization then, to one now; framed by the juxtaposition of engineering feats old and new.
