Transition Season: Banff National Park
Seeking solitude in the vast mountains of Banff National Park, a friend and I hiked 8km through snow and ice. As the sunlight faded into the clouds a brief peace fell over us. As quickly as it had greeted us, an icy blast of wind channelled through the valley.
