A dying daylily, captured on a solitary walk in Higashiosaka. In Japan when the pandemic began, I returned in August 2020 to the United States. From an ongoing series, Portrait, crosscultural (Japan, the US,and Portugal) mementos of love, loss, and remembrance during the pandemic.
