TRAPEZOID WINDOW IN MACHU PICCHU

Trapezoidal windows in Machu Picchu were built by the Inca Empire in the 1400s. Back then it was believed that a trapezoidal window shape was stronger than a rectangular one. These window types are present throughout many historical monuments in Peru.
