A delicate rabbit "rests" behind a rigid barb-wired "cage" after an evening rain. This monochrome exhibit lies forgotten, as if innocence itself is waiting to breathe in a place fully abandoned by the world. I tried my best to capture the raw emotion I felt as my eyes met with the rabbit's. The fencing and harsh walls draws the viewer's attention to the main focus: the juvenile bunny trying to survive off of almost nothing. This photo is meant for people to reconsider, and most importantly, to empathize.
