Tre Cime in Moonlight

The iconic cliffs of Tre Cime became the emblem of the Dolomites. Every year millions of people come from all over the world. They carry a lot of beautiful memories with them, but they also often leave behind memories. Many, many stone piles were built to commemorate their visit. These man-made stone heaps are dwarfed by nature's rocky peaks. The small and the big, the fleeting and the timeless. Moonlight and stars intensify this feeling.
