Tree-climbing crab

A juvenile Sally Lightfoot crab climbing on a tree trunk on a beach. While the adults of this species have a characteristic strong red coloration, the young ones have darker appearance, which helps them camouflage between the lava rocks—but makes them stand out when climbing a tree.
