A good friend of mine called me the day this owlet fledged. I drove 8 hours & the next morning witnessed him climb 7 trees in total. I literally got to see him use his beak and talons to climb trees and at this point in the photo he stopped to take a break. It almost looks as if he's hugging the tree.
