Tree stump at Rattlesnake Lake
Dead tree stumps line the shoreline of Rattlesnake lake as if the water itself is venomous. Above the lake, Rattlesnake Ridge juts out of the ground as if striking towards its next victim. Despite all this, the lake is actually a peaceful oasis that teams with fish and hunting osprey during the summer months. If your lucky you may even see a bald eagle soaring above or river otter lounging around.
