Nubra Valley is getting more attention from tourists these days. It presents a different aspect of Ladakh with sand dunes and wild camels as you wind your way down to Hunder from Diskit. At the same time, there's snow in the mountains (top right). What a variety! I came across several trekking groups such as this who trek from the Diskit Monastery to Hunder and back.
