The journey to "Ibis Pond", located at Pinckney Wildlife Refuge, was a hot and humid trip. A short distance down a gravel road led to copious amounts of waterfowl, and coastal views. This Tri-colored Heron sat atop the trees, basking in the sun, and watching the Refuge's visitors. He sat, almost oblivious to the world around him, as if he to found the views captivating.
